The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for PK-12 substitute teachers for the 2024-2025 school year.  The successful candidate must be at least a high school graduate and have at least either (a) a Teaching Certificate or (b) a Paraprofessional License or (c) passed the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or (d) successfully completed a minimum of 60 semester or 90 quarter college/university credit hours with a Grade of "C" or better.

                           

                          *Candidates holding current teacher certification are preferred. 

                                                                                    

The following is required prior to receiving an invitation to attend the required Substitute Teacher Orientation:

Applicants who fulfill the requirements of the application process will be contacted by Human Resources for enrollment in the required Substitute Teacher Orientation.  Dates for orientations for the 2023-2024 school year may be found on the Bryan County Schools Website.  For more information, please visit the Human Resources link, then Substitute Teaching Information, Bryan County Schools Substitute Teacher Information.  We encourage you to monitor your email for notifications from Human Resources regarding your application and attending the required Substitute Teacher Orientation.

 

Substitutes are responsible for the criminal background check fee in the amount of $51.50, due at the time the completed employment packet is submitted.
