The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for Assistant Director of Finance.  This position provides leadership, support and guidance to ensure effective financial and business operations of the School District.

 

Position Overview

Provides leadership and direction for financial and business functions of the School District.  Assists the Director of Finance in planning and implementing the financial goals and operational procedures of the District to ensure efficient and effective financial practices.

 

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and Master's degree preferred.  Extensive administrative experience in accounting, auditing and/or cash management.  Knowledge of GAAP and FASB accounting procedures.  Preferred experience in school finance.
