The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for Director of Planning and Logistics.
Position Overview
The Director of Planning and Logistics will support the Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Student Services in providing a quality learning environment for all faculty, staff and students. This individual will be responsible for developing and leading a strategic plan that supports a robust facilities program, including but not limited to design, maintenance, construction, energy management, custodial services and safety. The Director of Planning and Logistics will be responsible for forecasting future needs, as well as planning for and managing a short and long-range building program.
The Director of Planning and Logistics reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Student Services.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience with strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting
- Experience in a K-12 education setting preferred, including evidence of strong leadership
- Successful experience in a management or supervisory role
- Experience with facility management
- Ability to work collaboratively with other intergovernmental and support agencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of logistics, planning and forecasting, and management in related fields preferred
