The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for a Health & PE Teacher/Offensive Coordinator at Bryan County High School, beginning with the 2019-2020 school year. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an applicable field of education from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission approved college/university. Georgia teaching certificate (or eligibility) required (grades 9 – 12 – Health & PE).
Skills:
In addition to regular teaching duties and responsibilities, must possess the ability to design offensive plays and game plans and teach high school students the technical and strategic aspects of offensive football; experience with a successful high school football program preferred. Expectations include: supporting district-wide vision, mission and academic goals; effective and appropriate communication/relationship with school system leaders, colleagues, students, parents and community members; strong comprehension of all GHSA rules and regulations related to football; supporting academic needs of students; and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work Experience:
A minimum of 3 years successful coaching experience as Assistant Football Coach.

Teacher salary scale plus supplement
