The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for Assistant Superintendent for Operations and Student Services.
Position Overview
The Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Student Services will assist the Superintendent in providing the leadership necessary to develop, maintain and manage the best possible educational programs and services for the benefit of each individual student. This individual will ensure seamless operational support to schools from all central departments, including but not limited to Transportation, Technology, Facilities, Safety, Student Discipline, Health Services, Athletics, and other service-related areas.
The assistant superintendent of operations and student services reports directly to the superintendent.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree required and master’s degree or higher preferred
- Experience in a K-12 education setting, including evidence of strong leadership preferred
- Successful experience in a management or supervisory role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with other intergovernmental and support agencies
- Experience with strategic planning and/or forecasting and budgeting
