The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for an immediate opening as an Exceptional Student Services teacher for the 2018-19 school year at Richmond Hill Primary School (Grades Pre-K-1 facility). The successful candidate must meet all certification requirements in the appropriate field(s) of education, as follows: 

• Special Education – Self-Contained classrooms – must hold certification in Adapted Curriculum Special Education, plus Special Education content concentrations in all 5 content areas.
• Special Education – Co-taught classrooms – must hold certification in General Curriculum Special Education, plus Special Education content concentrations in the areas of Reading/ELA and/or Math.

In addition to certification and professionally qualified status, Bryan County is interested in teachers who possess a strong knowledge of research-based and data-driven instructional practices designed to ensure students with disabilities the opportunity to be successful in their educational environment, as well as embracing a philosophy of providing individual interventions in a manner that positively affects individual student growth.
