The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for PK-12 substitute teachers for the 2018-19 school year.  The successful candidate must be at least a high school graduate and have at least either (a) a Teaching Certificate or (b) a Paraprofessional License or (c) passed the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or (d) successfully completed a minimum of 60 semester or 90 quarter college/university credit hours with a Grade of "C" or better.

                          *Candidates holding current teacher certification are preferred. 

The following is required prior to receiving an invitation to attend the required Substitute Teacher Orientation:

• Copies of proof of required education level must be uploaded to your online application (teaching certificate or official college transcripts or official GACE paraprofessional assessment scores); AND
• At least one (1) current, work-related supervisory reference response must be received through the online application.

Substitutes are responsible for the criminal background check fee in the amount of $49.25, due at the time the completed employment packet is submitted.
