The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for special education teachers for the 2017-18 school year. The successful candidate must meet all certification requirements in the appropriate field(s) of education (Adapted Curriculum Special Education) and must hold Special Education content concentrations in all 5 content areas.

In addition to certification and highly qualified status, Bryan County is interested in teachers who possess a strong knowledge of research-based and data-driven instructional practices designed to ensure access to general curriculum standards, as well as embracing a philosophy of providing interventions in a manner that utilizes a proactive approach to facilitate positive outcomes for students with disabilities.

The opening and closing dates of the posting are an estimation of the time required to solicit applications for our posted position. Once the System receives an adequate number of highly qualified applications, the district may choose to move forward with the interview process and remove the posting from the site prior to the ending date.
