The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for a SCHOOL BUS MECHANIC in the Department of Transportation Office in Richmond Hill.  The successful candidate must meet thefollowing criteria:

 1. Demonstrated success in performing a wide variety of tasks requiring an understanding of and proficiency for mechanical repair.

2. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.

3. ASE or equivalent certification preferred.

4. Air conditioning recovery and recycling license (must obtain within 90 days)

5. Holds a valid license and obtain a class B CDL within 30 days of employment.

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. This is a 240-day position.
